In Europe, Americas, and in a lot of other countries, vending machines in tourist destinations are a permanent fixture already. First, they are a really great amenity for travelers/tourists who have limited time. Sometimes, they’d rather tour the area, discover local culture than to line up a long queue just to get a bottle of water, a quick coffee or what have you. Second, it’s about time we do the same thing here in our country. Filipino is known to be hospitable, this is one way of showing our hospitality to our visitors… through a convenient service that they are familiar with whenever they are visiting other countries.
